Sign Framework

Having good work relationships with other local companies is what makes the world go round. Recently I made a second sign frame for Roberge Signs who is just down the street from my shop. Luckily the sign is not that heavy which allowed us to use thinner then normal stock to achieve the curve. This product is complete and now at powder-coating to be powder painted satin black. This is the housing development metal & granite sign sketch from the customer with dimensions and material call out. Lake Sunapee Structural Steel Install

I’m very lucky to get to work with some of the greatest contractors of the Lake Sunapee Region. I was most recently hired to assist with the install of structural I-beams which will support a second story garage space as well as large areas of the addition. This job is far from complete and is going to require me to put down metal composite decking for concrete to rest on, over thirty custom steel columns, custom rafter brackets and a few more structural I-beams as the carpenters get to the next level. Hopefully as the project progresses I will also get a chance to provide some ornamental hand railings which in my mind are more rewarding and visible to everyone who visits.      ...

Install of Exterior Work Platform Stairway

Last week I delivered and installed an exterior work platform stairway for a new customer. I pre-assembled all of the landings and stair section in the shop, loaded on my trailer for delivery and installed using a subcontracted boom crane. The pieces went together flawlessly, not having to adjust one piece! The anxiety of a project fitting properly keeps me up at night yet they typically go together just fine. This customer was extremely impressed with the whole process but especially pleased with how quick, easy and accurately it all took shape. They asked me to measure for the next set of guardrails before I was even finished!      ...
